With over 20 years of experience in commercial landscaping, Oscar is the driving force behind Ficus Landscape Group. His expertise is grounded in a strong academic foundation, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management along with Diplomas in Horticulture and Occupational Health & Safety.
Since founding the company, Oscar has led Ficus Landscape Group in delivering high-end landscape projects across Victoria, including iconic sites such as Docklands Park, Chadstone Shopping Centre, and numerous educational institutions. His passion for quality, safety, and excellence has positioned Ficus Landscape Group as a trusted partner in the commercial landscaping sector.
Our administration team brings over 18 years of hands-on experience in the horticulture and commercial landscaping industry, backed by a solid foundation in small business administration and operations. With proven expertise in managing accounts, payroll, and day-to-day administrative functions, the team plays a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly. By combining in-depth industry knowledge with strong financial and administrative skills, the team provides essential support that drives business growth and ensures ongoing operational efficiency.
Our contract and project managers are tertiary-qualified professionals with backgrounds in civil engineering, landscape construction, and business management. They approach their work with exceptional attention to detail, a strong focus on safety, and a creative mindset. Their responsibilities encompass all aspects of contract and project management and client liaison, while also providing leadership and support to our landscaping teams. Many of our team members have grown and developed alongside the company, with some having been with us since our early years—managing projects ranging from small-scale developments to large, complex undertakings.
Our experienced estimators bring industry insight, precision, and a client-focused approach to every landscaping project. They assess each site to provide accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment, while collaborating with designers to align with project goals. By staying current with market trends and identifying potential risks early, they help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
